Conspiracy Theorists Believe Mainstream News...
I believe that the true conspiracy theorists are those who believe the MSM. A terrible virus - courtesy of Mother Nature and our own unpleasantness - has snuck up behind us and whammed us!
Certain people in my social/family circle seem to believe that this is their moment of great true life drama. They are the stars.
And facts about the 'virus' - openly touted by even the American CDC or the WHO (lockdowns should be stopped!) - are ignored in favour of this 'true life' drama.
Well, after all, furloughing is nice, isn't it? And we are suffering the terrible onslaught of a deadly killer pandemic.
Comorbidities? Flawed testing? Mangled stats? The Great Reset emerging? No, no, no! This is drama because Kay Burley (who ignored lockdown restrictions for her birthday celebrations last year) and Piers Morgan say so.
So, I believe this 'virus' scenario is appealing to the 'drama queen' within millions of people. I'm wearing a mask! This is a terrifying time. I will keep calm and take the jab...
And the holier-than-thou side. This is the 21st Century. We're so caring. We put lives before profits. Lockdowns are so much better than life. And they have no negative effects. Nobody dies from lockdowns.
HUH!
We've been dumbed down for a very long time. For as long as I remember. And the invention of the World Wide Web in 1989 and its implementation in the early 90s has had a very negative effect as well as a positive.
We now live in a digital 'madness of crowds' world, in which the dramatic, goody goody, sanctimonious minority rule the majority and have a hugely disproportionate impact.
Interesting conversation from Macroaggressions - with that great bloke from Last American Vagabond - above.
Matt Hancock nipped off to that lovely ski resort at Davos for a luxury pow-wow with a bunch of the super rich, and suddenly we're having a Fourth Industrial Revolution. No discussion, no consultation. And why? Because Klaus Schwab, one of those super rich, unelected people says so.
