Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge: FORCED ISOLATION: Certain Wards STILL Denying Lonely Patients Visitors...
So, here we are in the summer of 2022 and Addenbrooke's Hospital in Hills Road, Cambridge, a 'Cambridge University Hospital' (seat of privilege), NHS Trust and apparently one of the greatest hospitals in the world, in reality largely a vestibule of the easily deluded and big pharma, is denying patients on certain wards visitors if one patient has a positive 'covid' test.
Demoralising for the patients, and completely out of step with facts. Addenbrooke's really needs to be brought into line and to stop undermining the health of patients via draconian acts like cutting them off from loved ones.
Emotional wellbeing is a huge contributor to recovery for millions of patients. We know that. It can easily make the difference between life or death.
Has nobody heard of holistic care?
Is Addenbrooke's Hospital knowingly participating in a culling of patients, we wonder?
Do be aware that any challenges to the hospital's involuntary isolation procedure should be channeled through the hospital's PALS service - or by formal complaint.
WARNING: It is no good thing to trust that a charge nurse you are informally dealing with by phone or otherwise on the subject of involuntary isolation on a particular Addenbrookes ward is a reasonable human being. You may be caught up in situations based purely on lies about your demeanour.
Although your demeanour when you are distressed and anxious about a relative may not be of 19th Century English drawing room standards, any slight raising of your voice, fazed reaction or agitation can be used against you by a charge nurse in a telephone conversation with no witnesses. In one case, an Addenbrooke's charge nurse went onto the ward afterwards and told a recently diagnosed terminally ill woman patient: 'Your partner just phoned and shouted at me!'
Can you imagine such 'professionalism'?!!
The continued myopic focusing on just 'covid' in this so-called hospital is beyond belief.
What is behind it?
